mac n cheese pleeeeease!

I have always added heavy whipping cream to Aidan's mac and cheese. He likes it alot and is 35 pounds at 2 years old so something is working.

Last Fall when we were in the City for a doctor's appointment we went to Macaroni Grill for dinner. Max only eats noodles with butter -- but of course he can't SEE the butter or he won't eat it. The waiter came by with the cheese grater and asked us all if we wanted cheese on our food and Max totally surprised us by saying yes. Ever since then I've had to get out the zyliss cheese grater that grates cheese very finely and start buying a wedge of parmasan (sp) cheese. He has it on spagettios, noodles, his hand.
Can't help you with high calorie mac and cheese, 'cuz he won't eat it anymore. When he did, I'd add oil to the water when I boiled the noodles. Added olive oil, butter & cream to the mix to pump up calories.
