Hey everybody, Kinda new to these forms so ill start with a quick introduction.. My name is Alan, Im 24 year young PWCF from Ireland.
I recently got the kick up my arse I needed to put in the effort with reguards exercise and maintaining fitness. I wont go as far as saying im un-fitbut I definatly needed some motivation to get going. All that said, Im considering committing myself for the Dublin Marathon in October and am just wondering what it takes?
I started back in the gym last week. I try to go 3 times a week at the minute, I run on the threadmil at 6Kmph to 10Kmph for about 45minutes, covering about 10Km per session.
I also try do some weight training though am limited with this because of a bloodclot I got a few years back from a portacat (Another story altogether! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> )
Has anyone got any idea what sort of figures or times/speeds I should be aiming for (long term)?
Not sure if im jumping in the deep end a bit early with this one, although it would offer the motivation to exercise and help with my fundraising/awarness goals.
Thanks in advance!
Alan
