Their OB said that men who carry CF gene are often infertile, something to do with vas deferens not connecting to seminal fluid canals<img src="i/expressions/brokenheart.gif" border="0">

Men w/CF are often infertile, as are many women with CF.

Being a carrier would not impact his fertility (from a CF standpoint).

Dh and I didn't know we were carries for Df508 until our son was born with meconium illeus and needed surgery to repair the bowel obstruction, etc. No family history and we've both looked back HUNDREDS of years thru the geneology records.
