Can't add anything more, except to say that I agree with the others. I hope you don't have to fuss too much, but if it was me, "Momma Bear" might be lurking a little too close to the surface for comfort if they wanted me to wait 2 more weeks <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> . Please let us know how it goes...

<---- I agree with the rest 200%

My fev1 is currently around 40%. I'm convinced it would been in the 60's somewhere if I hadn't waited to get treatment once, 6 years ago.

Thanks everyone,
I am calling the doctor this morning and will update everyone. I appreciate the advice. I didn't want to call if this could be allergy related because then I wouldn't mind waiting out the two weeks. Just interested, has anyone had a very crackly exhale after cpt that was related to any one type of infection? I'm just looking for clues as to what is going on with him, because his last culture came up with just molds, but he has cultured staph since he was a baby and cultured pa in November. So, I'm not conviced he gave a very good sputum sample two weeks ago.

I've had PA exacerbations and H. Flu exacerbations, both of which were the same in terms of crackling. For me, sputum is sputum.....

What did the doc do to eradicate the PA he cultured in November? Were aggressive steps taken?
