Melissa- Have I got this right? I'm still confused!
Say you go into the hospital for two weeks and then afterward, if you stay out for a full 60 days, the inpatient deductible ($1024) is reset and you pay that again for the next admission.
If you go into the hospital, are discharged, and then admitted again within 60 days, you're still on the original inpatient deductible. Does that inpatient deductible still only cover 60 consecutive days from your first discharge, and then you start paying co-insurance? Or do they start counting the number of days you're in the hospital, up to 60?
Thanks for your help!
