Modifier genes?

I saw in the cf canadian foundation that they have found one modifier that is related to man fertility.
i also read that in the Cleveland hosp. they are doing this research with twins and siblings with cf to catch up some modifier genes.
the bottom line of all this is that finding out this genes they said that possibly there are some medicines already done.

Thank you for all of your responses. I guess I'd like to know more out of curiosity than anything else <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">. I understand the importance of spending more time and money on actual treatment. It would be kinda nice though to know that I have cf but I do have "great modifier genes???" It think it would put my mind a little at ease, without compromising my health (or my compliance!) Thanks again, and have a great weekend, all!!!
