Mentioning things like the "Nutty Professor", I couldn't stop laughing whenever I saw it! And, "Blazing Saddles", with them all sittin' around the campfire eating beans! Anyone notice the flame in the campfire was getting higher??
I learned some slang words from movies I saw..."Someone step on a duck?"-Rodney Dangerfield-
Then there were some others that come to mind "Buck Snort", (LOL), "break wind", "cut the cheese", "Rip one!", and some useful tricks like "Hey, Pull my finger".
In Japan, the Japanese like to use sounds to describe things, and passing gas is no exception. "Hei (pronounced 'hey') wo detta" would be a humble phrase for breaking wind, or just "Buu" (Pronounced as "Boo") would just be a word for breaking wind. I'm sure there are a few more "colorfull" phrases, but I hadn't been exposed to that kind of language, yet!
When I first met my wife, we were on a road trip and I heard an odd, but familiar sound, and she soon says "excuse me!". I replied, "What'd ya do, fart?". She goes, "Yea, so sorry" <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
I remember a childhood melody that went something like this..."Beans Beans, good for your heart, the more you eat, the more you fart"..."Beans Beans, the natural fruit, the more you eat, the more you TOOT!"
