I'm a fan of the 1968 one, myself. I like how she's looking down towards the ground, instead of straight at the viewer. Hehe.

The tat is going on my back above my butt and to the right. I had back surgery at 16 and they had to take a bone graft from my hip so they made this awful jagged arc scar over my butt and so I'm going to put her just above the scar so it looks like she's walking on it. hence the Morton salt girl because I am salty and it will look like she's pouring salt on the wound....get it? Haaa haaaa

*yah I know I'm not quite right in the head*

I vote for 1968 too! You are so creative placing her like she is walking on top of your scar. Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.

I am voting for 1914 in all black ink, I love nostaglia and since it won't be "familiar" people will have to ask you what you ink means...I love the idea!

Post pictures when you're done. I've contacted a local tattoo artist about getting a Morton Salt Boy, but she said if I wanted more detail, it'd have to be larger than a few inches -- otherwise she could only do an out line. So I'm trying to figure out where to have my little salty boy tattoo placed depending upon the size.
