Post pictures when you're done. I've contacted a local tattoo artist about getting a Morton Salt Boy, but she said if I wanted more detail, it'd have to be larger than a few inches -- otherwise she could only do an out line. So I'm trying to figure out where to have my little salty boy tattoo placed depending upon the size.

The 1968 one! Every time I drive into Chicago, I pass the huge Morton's salt plant... it's hard to see in this photo, but there's a huge picture of the little girl on the right side of the roof.

Cool idea!

What a cute idea. While heavily tattooed, I don't have any CF-related tattoos, but of all I've heard of this is definitely the most adorable and most tasteful.

Ratatosk, I would suggest talking to different artists until you find someone who will do exactly what you want. What one artist may feel they are not capable of doing, another artist can perfect... don't settle. Seriously.

I figure I'll shop around. The reason I contacted this one orginally was because she did a reproduction of a photo of a friend of mine's daughter on his arm and the likeness was uncanny -- down to the twinkle in her eye. She does a lot of portrait work, so I thought she'd be able to do better detail. Plus she has a nursing background, is older and I thought it might be safer.

But you're right. I've got to be happy with how it looks, so I'll be checking out some other places. Thank.

Okay first off I too like the 1968 version best<br>
Secondly, Debbie has a sexy back <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"><br><br>

When you said "mortons salt girl tat" 'Tattoo' was certainly not what I assumed you were reffering too.

Ugh! I got an email back from the tattoo artist I'd originally contacted about my salty boy tattoo. I'd told her I was looking at a little blonde boy with messy hair and a big smile based on the 1968 Morton Salt girl. The sketch was absolutely dreadful!! And this is someone whose done really uncanny likenesses from photos. The sketch looked awkward and is it me or does he only have three toes on the left foot?

Oh well, I've got a line on a couple of other artists in town.
