My baby and tobi

My 17 month old is soo good with her meds I really cant complain. We just started her on Tobi, her second time now since birth. My concern is that half way through it she decides she wants to seal her mouth shut, or fall asleep and the only problem Im having is I dont know if its as effective if its inhaled only through the nose instead of the mouth. If it isnt than what can I do to keep her inhaling through her mouth?

Does she use a mask or a mouthpiece? We have threatened Reece to use the noseclips he gets when he does PFTs if he doesnt breath in deep. or he has a habit of biting down on the mouthpiece & he doesnt have a good seal.

You don't need the nose clips, just use a mask. Its ok if she falls asleep. She might be sealing her mouth closed because it doesn't taste very good and is irritating to the throat. It gives my daughter a bloody nose sometimes.
