My sweat tests in as a teenager and at 40 were borderline normal and interpreted as negative. If I'd have had the CF screening it would have shown me as a carrier. But full genetic testing identified 2 other very rare mutations. Infact one was only ever seen once before and one I'm the first to have (my daughter is the second).
