My Mother in Hospital

She is doing much better today as far as being awake and alert. Her cough wasn't so wet sounding either.
She had a heck of a time last night w/ hallucinations; I guess is what you'd call it? She was convinced that her oxygen tubing was tied on both ends & no O2 was getting through, she said some old men came by in the middle of the night trying to sell her stuff, and she tried to get the nurses to call my dad at 2 a.m. to get him to come to the hospital to take care of her & get rid of the peddlers. I suppose the codeine she was on, maybe combined with the high CO2 levels contributed to all of this??
At any rate, she was much better today & getting back to her old self. The doctor did say that she will have tests tomorrow to check her lungs and heart and a few other tests (ABG, sputum culture, etc) as well.

Hey there! I haven't been checking in here often enough and missed this about your mom, but it's certainly not too late for me to pray for her. (I have a <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://beforethrone.blogspot.com/">prayer blog</a>, too, and will add it to that.)
That is so worrisome when you don't know what is going on and then add to the mix that she is so disoriented. My mom got like that when she was in the hospital 2 yrs ago. And hers was some infection due to bladder surgery. Was your mom like that before this bout of sickness?
I'm glad you could go in today, but I certainly hope and pray that you don't get sick, too.
