My interpretation is that docs says NAC is ineffective because s/he knows the old research about it as a mucus thinner that works for normal people, but not for CF'ers. The new research says that NAC reduces inflammation - a totally different affect for a different symptom.

I have the same question ? Can this be used on young children below 2 years of age ?

do you also nebulize NAC ?
