Get a hobby is correct, most of the stuff you get at health food stores is crap. If you would like to try NAC and want to make sure you a getting what you paying for, ask your doctor to prescribe 20% mucomyst solution to get 1800 mg you would do 4.5 ml twice a day. If he's stubborn and won't go outside the box here is the link for the stuff they used in the Stanford study (<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.bioadvantex.com/us/02_ghealth_pharmanac.asp">http://www.bioadvantex.com/us/02_ghealth_pharmanac.asp</a>).

Chris is right - supplements aren't regulated in the US.

So the bottle may say 600mg NAC, but it may have 10mg NAC. No way to know since there is no regulation.

I get my NAC from Europe because supplements are an Rx there

I have absolutely no idea if that Bio Advantex company is a reputable company. However, I wouldn't order anything on their website. It is asking for a credit card number on an unencrypted page. Call them if you are going to order those tablets.
Also, that is going to get expensive. 2-3 pills a day at almost a dollar per pill. I am not saying it won't help, it is just going to be expensive.

It's the company Dr. Moss from Stanford is getting his NAC from for his Phase I and Phase II clinical studies. That's enough credibility for me.

It's expensive, yes, but better than throwing you money away on un-regulated American NAC.
