I have heard wonderful things about the Saline neb. I tried it once and it didnt work out for me....but they said that might be better with exposure to it. I think I may be going on it soon though as a precautionary. The GREAT thing about is that its NOT an antiobiotic, so you wont develop resistance to it. Its also a lot cheaper and very efficient because it gets you coughin junk up.
I have been on Tobi and thats always worked for me, but I havent needed it lately beccause of the study I am participating in. The Tobi makes you cough stuff up, so thats good. My concern for myself is that I feel like Im healthy lately, but I am still always on antiobiotics, so I wish that I could stop that. I dont want to always be on them, because I dont want to become resistant to them. Personally I like the Neb antiobiotics. I feel as though they are more efficient because (a) they help you get stuff up out of your lungs and (b) they are combatting the infection. The other reason I prefer the neb ones is that they dont always have the nasty stomach side effects and whatnot. Obv sometimes you cant avoid the oral ABX...and sometimes they work best in combination with other things, so you have to deal with the side effects.
**Ok never mind that doesnt really answer your question...lol....im dumb <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">...
The only other nebbed abx I have been on is the Aztreonam and thats not available yet for wide usage. Its still in the trial stages. But I can assure you it will be approved and it really works well in keeping infections down. Hopefully will be out this summer...sry to babble and sorry if this doesnt answre your question.
