It's water under the bridge but why the heck wouldn't they ask for you to talk to them about CF before they went ahead and played Russian rulette? Fools!

And you say they aren't 100% compliant?!?! Unbelievable!

I'm getting ticked off just thinking about it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0"> and doubt I could bite my tounge if I was in your shoes.

Maybe agree to an e-mail diaglogue? That way it may be easier to sensor/edit yourself.

Of course, another option is to mention this site but I'm not sure how well that would turn out for you, them, or us.

Prevention is not a common word in the American vocabulary.

But aside from that, I totally understand your struggle and frustration with these parents. I was in a similar situation with a past co-worker who had a 2 yr old with CF.

BUT... there is a sweet, innocent child at the root of all this that could really really use your help and advice. How I handle that sort of situation is to realize that I could make a positive difference in this kiddo's life by sharing my knowledge with the parents. It is up to the parents to take that knowledge and be productive with it. But at least you did your part in trying to help make this little one's life possibly a little healthier, happier and easier.

But that's my 2 cents, and 2 cents can't buy anything now days! hehe

I am a mother of a cf daughter and a daughter that is normal. Courtney my oldest does not have cf. We got pg again and had Kelly she was dig. at 2mths. She had a rocky start at first with Kelly, but she is as normal for the most part as any other child. She has a routine of her meds everyday other then that it is not always so bad. God helps us make choices for a reason. That child with cf might have a great and wonderful life like my daughter. You would not know she had cf. The parents aren't completely wrong for having the child if God didn't want it they would not have gotten pg. You have to look at things from all diff. sides. The child might have a great wonderful life. There are a lot of worse things out there. Pray and your answers will come to you. Like I said my daughter doesn't look at it as there is a lot of pain and suffering to me. Yea a inconvience sometimes but want isn't diffent in life.
