OK....This is just baffling me right now! First you said they told you you had 96 % pft's and from what I see it's more like 121%! How the hell can your pft's be that good but yet you have to use oxygen for going on walks? It just doesn't add up to me? Either you have some miraculous technique for doing the test that is fooling the machine, they have an out of date machine or something's wrong with it, or they aren'e enterring your correct info into the machine before doing the test, or there's something else going on with you that is causing bad uptake of oxygen into your blood fom your lungs or something. In my mind with that kind of pft's you should be marathon running or something not feeling awful and hardly being able to do much activity on your own. Something just isn't adding up to me and I appologize if I'm coming accross negative but if what's on paper is correct then I'm of the opinion from how you say you feel something else is going on that evidently they are not detecting which would be cause for concern in my opinion, it might be worth it to have the test done and yourself checked out at another cf clinic - by the way is where you go now an actual CF clinic? Can you describe what they make you do for the test? Reason I ask this is because my GF has Immotile Cyllia Syndrome (affects lungs quite similarly to CF, less all the other complications) and the last time she did a pft she was around 60%. She can't keep up with half of what I can do, she has gasps occationally in her breathing but yet all I can blow is a measly 38-40%! lol This has lead me to wonder if my technique for doing the test is just totally screwed up and giving me false readings or something, even the docs don't know how I can do what I do from what's shown on the tests and some (not many) have even said I should back off from my intense training a bit! I refuse to though as this has gotten me quite a bit of solid muscle to my once skinny frame and has brought my PFT's up from 23% in 2002. Anyway interested in hearing your answers to my questions above...

+1 - those numbers are off the charts, and I'm surprised you need oxygen...
