Ron started this because his son has CF and he and his now ex-wife had the same problem financially. He wanted to not only be able to help his own son but others, as well. He believes in the CFF foundation trying to find a cure, but there are people that need help now while they are waiting for a cure to be found and even beyond a cure. People just can't afford the price our government is charging for people to live. Check out the website and contact me via personal email. There are some funds available now, but we also need help from volunteers all across the United States to help organize fundraisers to raise even more money so the foundation can help even more people. Check it out and give me your feedback at <A href="mailto:judy_gumm2002@yahoo.com">judy_gumm2002@yahoo.com and I can't wait to hear back from you. Also, spread the word about the site. If you have any questions, contact me. Thank you and God Bless.

thank you first of all, but I looked up this website, and it looked like it was only for children and helping pay for lung transplants. Im 21 and I dont need a transplant at this moment, did you send me the wrong link?

I am no married yet (about 9 months to go ), but I guess this is something that we really haven't thought too much about. My fiance (whome has CF) is a teacher, so his insurance is really good. When we get married I had planned to keep my insurance and his and we would each have 2 insurances. One would be the primary and another a secondary incase he couldn't work anymore we wouldn't have to worry as much about getting him on my insurance. I do know that some of the meds have programs that you can fill out an application for that give you some of your other meds cheaper or for free. For instance, my finace is on Creon and we could get his multivitamin and ensure drinks free each month if he filled out the paperwork. It is a program that is not based on income or anything. He goes the UW Madison for his doctor. To me it is something that we will just have to manage when we get married if it becomes a problem. I also know that there was some kind of state program that he was on for CF before I met him. I am unsure of what it is because he dropped it when he got his teaching job and they decent insurance. I would talk to you CF team and ask them, they have been very helpful to us for any questions we've had about anything. Hopefully this helps you!
