A family in our area has put a table outside of some local Dunkin Donuts, and have raised money that way. They've been doing this for several years and average about $75/hour, and this is without even any solicitation. They just have a sign hanging from their table with some CF facts, and people drop money in on their way in and out of getting coffee ... no hard sells. I don't think you have Dunkin Donuts down south, but maybe Krispy Kreme? I really hope you make your goal! And your bank couldn't have at least thrown in a token donation to your effort? I would be pretty angry as well!
