The lab did the test correct, but the person keying in the information didn't list DeltaF508! I was told it does happen in other states as well. Some labs even miss both genes! Could you imagine going months without knowing what is going on with your child's health all the while the state messed up on a test!

My mother (who was with me every step of the way in my GI issues) is convinced I should get tested further. She found on the internet that evidently 10% of CF patients have pancreatic divism...I might look into it at a later date. Right now I just want to focus in on Avery's weight gain (She hit her target gain this week!). I am doing okay right now. My GI dr thinks I am crazy for even thinking I could have CF. I just have a hard time believing I could have pancreatic divism, GERD, and UC and they all are not related somehow.
