Need your opinion about Pulmozyme

I've been on it for a few months now and I love it. I am able to get up a buch of stuff even when I don't think there is anything to get up. I use it in the mornings with my vest, then use my accapells and then get a shower and the stuff just comes right up. Being proactive is a good idea. Go for it!

EDITED: I also wanted to add that my FEV1 went back up to base after starting. Don't know if it has anything to do with it, but it just occured to me when I replied to this thread that it may be why I bounced back from my last two exacerbations.

Hi,

I have also found Pulmozyme to be very effective. However, I also found that it was the cause of my hemoptysis.

If you decide to try it, and bleeding occurs, it might be the culprit.

been on it for years and love it. i can definetely tell a difference if i miss a dose and i just generally feel better and am able to clear more junk when i'm on it. i just do it once a day and always have but i'm thinking that like amy/noexcuses said that with a higher lung function 2x a day might be good to keep stuff from getting stuck too deep early on.

It definitely aggrivates my hemoptysis, but when my bleeds are under control I feel the benefits 100000%. This is ESPECIALLY true when I am sick.

For me its one of those things that you dont notice unless you are off of & then go back on......
