Hi all. Just wanted to introduce myself, I've finally joined after lurkin for quite a few months. I myself am 27, from Illinois. My first child was born 2-25-07 and shortly after diagnosed with CF. So far all is well, she is pancreatic insufficient but *knock on wood* no pulmonary involvment as of yet.

So far, I've found quite a bit of useful information from the site, and I want to thank you all for that. Hopefully I will be able to put my 2 cents in eventually.

Just wanted to introduce myself, I might have been the one you felt looking over your shoulder <img src="i/expressions/devil.gif" border="0"> LOL

Welcome to the group! I'm glad that you decided to join after browsing around the site for awhile. I hope you find just as much help and support here as I do. CF is certainly a challenge, but with support and encouragement from people who have "been there, done that" fighting the battle isn't quite the heavy load it would be otherwise.

Congratulations on your first child. I can only imagine the flood of emotion you must have felt when you learned she had CF. On the days when you feel most overwhelmed or even scared about CF, you can always lean on us. You're bound to find people who can help you cope.

All the best,
Lauren
