Thanks sharon. I try not to google too much, I just freak myself out <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
I am hopeful it will help and am actually almost looking forward to it. She coughs a lot, wakes up coughing, spits up tons, can't be layed flat for any period of time, and is generally uncomfortable after eating. They think all that discomfort is contributing to her poor feeding, she used to be a total piggy. She was projectile vomiting ounces after every feed prior to all of these meds.
When she was hospitalized they did a bronch and endo, which showed aspiration and a milk allergy. They changed her to a hypoallergenic formula but it hasn't helped. They did 2 diff types of swallow studies, one with a lower bowel follow through, and a milk scan, and they all showed she wasn't aspirating while swallowing, so it must be from below.
Thanks for your reply, I hope Hazel's goes as smoothly as Sophia's did <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
