My walk is TOMORROW! May 3. I picked a conservative goal of $2,000 and have raised $3,000, thanks to my family and friends. In addition to that I had a very inspired friend that did a Great Strides walk in my honor last weekend and reached her goal of $750 in less than 2 weeks! People are awesome!

We have 2 walks. One of them is next Saturday, May 10th. I hope to raise about $3,000 for that one. Our team for that one is my huaband, Isabelle and me. Eveyone in our families will be there, but they formed thier own teams, leaving me high and dry! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> I will use some of the $$$ from our various fundraisers to turn in at that walk.
The other is the following weekend. We have a team of about 15 so far. This is where my letter writing campaign $$$ goes, and the rest of the fundraiser $$$. My personal goal is $5,000 with a team goal of $10 -15,000. We'll see.
As long as we top last year's effort, I'm ok with that. Our neighbors have formed a team for this walk, too. What's with these upstarts pulling away from MY grand total? Ha Ha.
