Actually it was a pedi Gi doc..when they found her gallstones we were referred to one fresh out of the hospital, we have been seeing him for about 4 months now. He is the one sending us for the second opinion. Our regular ped 's office is such a baby factory that no one doc takes the time to know any of them. They are fine for the occasional ear infection or runny nose but we see a different doc all the time. If it's anything more I can usually get her into her Pulmo doc or current Gi doc right away.(sorry so long)

I have read that they need a minimum of 75 mg sweat for an accurate result (i think it was in CFF guidlelines too) although i think this may vary somewhat according to protocol since i have seen other numbers cited elsewhere....Was the test preformed by an accredited CF facility??? Of course, they can still make mistakes but at the very least i would expect that they would know how much sweat was required and not give results for a test in which there was not enough sweat.
