Shane,

This is what i was referring to, since IT was the following post from Landy's comment:

<begin quote>Originally posted by: Brad

And Bush is a idiot.....</end quote>

And I did not make any statement, hint or any such thing as to your theory of how others view Obama...I already explained myself in the last post, and I'm not explaining again, you can scroll up!

Posts don't lie, but your explanation in reference to Landy's post is NOT related to my explanation of how my quote was used..don't manipulate it!

I did not put blame on anyone, I explained how the entire issue had come about regarding gun control (Scroll up for reference)...and your suggestion that I'm blatently being dishonest and slanderous is uncalled for...I've been here a heck of a lot longer than you to have the credibility of honesty.

If I have any apologies due, then I'll apologize for not clarifying my statement, but then, this is the internet as you put it.

And if you find justification in starting the whole name calling by using "Republithug" in all your comments, then it seems that someone else who is also irritated to your name calling has decided on their own to do the same, and I have no control over that.

And feel free to have your last word if you wish, this thread is now becoming a waste of my time, and most definitely had strayed long ago from the main issue, which I already expressed my opinion and disagreement.

Fred,
As you, I am no longer interested in arguing semantics. Your absolutist delineator seems not as certain as you deceptively portray it. I find it amusing that when someone mentions "I'd be worried about whether Obama will take your guns" and people stomp on that comment, then they cry victim. You see Fred, if nobody challenges that comment, however you intended it to be, people will believe it to be true. We are not the only ones reading this message board. Up until the election, some people at my job still thought Obama was a Manchurian candidate planted by Al-Qaeada. Now Fred, by repeating the same old lie that you had not brought it up, time, and time again, post after post, doesn't establish it as fact, it just remains a repeated lie. Please don't use the old tired out argument of "I have been here longer then you...therefore." As a mask for any deceptive, revisionist, hyperbolic activity. I'm not even going to get into why that doesn't matter the least. But I don't think I should be cast as a villain for attempting to correct what I deem as slander; as saying something about someone that is false is slander. When people read that comment, it might through up all these red flags in their heads. "So Obama wants to take our guns?" I'm sorry, but that kind of fear-mongering, emotional syntax is why your party lost big time in the elections. Now it's a big step for apologizing about not clarifying your statement, because we are not face to face here, and you might mean it one way, and it gets put through a meatgrinder, which is what you claim happened here.

Now with that being said, I do want to clarify a few points. My using the adage "republithugs", though some may seem it malicious on my part, and name calling, like I said I call them as I see them.

Because of the republithugs asinine spending on a stupid war, not regulating stock brokers, insurance companies, basically the GOP is no good. We had a middleclass that was flourishing when Clinton left office, only to be drowning in debt and joblessness ever since your party's man took the reins. Due to Bush's asinine tax cuts, (which weren't tax cuts for the average American, cause they were basically only slanted to the rich) that's part of the reason why we are in this mess we are currently in. Fred, people like you can acclaim, cheerlead, and try to defend the unrestricted actions of the Republithugs all you like, but the rest of the population chooses to take reality at face value. If Republithugs are in denial that when they were in power that they aided in causing this problem, then how in the world can they be part of the solution? Calling them republicans would be a sign of acknowledgment and respect. Well, respect must be earned, and not freely given.

Now Fred, suppose you are at a diner. You only order a cup of coffee. A man wearing an Armani suit and has gold teeth and chains is sitting behind you. He orders their highest price entrée on the menu. You pay for the coffee with a $20 bill. The owner of the store takes the $20, and hands it to the man behind you, who surely is already wallowing in his luxury, while you are now as broke as a church mouse. Do you think this is a good way of conducting business? What would you call this man (the owner who took your money)? A thief, criminal? Maybe even a thug? Hmmmmm.

And as to someone else using President Obama's middle name. Even though Hussein might very well be President Obama's middle name, people usually are not in the habit of stressing Presidents' middle name's. When reffering to the former President, you don't hear, "President Walker," or "President Herbert Walker (For w's dad). The only reason why someone would stress his middle name is to invoke that sensation of fear,( its not a coincidence that the very same people instilled the fear), or to invoke him to Al-Qaeda or some other nonsense. I guarantee that if the President's middle name was John or Jim, no one whatsoever would mention it.

But I am not offended by using his middle name, actually I find it comical. These people that utilize it do so with a hidden intent-to dumb America down. Now in about 99.9% of the cases, I wouldn't let someone's name be a roadblock to their character, but if someone's name would be like John Godhatesfags Jones, then maybe.

This thread isn't about who gets the last word, it's about speaking out against something you see as wrong. None of us will obviously budge in our stance about this inconsequential, issue. I have properly explained why I use that name with the GOP, and why the middle name of the Pres when used as a lever, invokes fear. I return to work tomorrow, so I will not have as much time to post.

Take it easy.

From a speech from John McCain:
"And I gotta give you some straight talk, my friends. It's a tough war we're in. It's not gonna be over right away," McCain said. "There's gonna be other wars. I'm sorry to tell you, there's gonna be other wars. We will never surrender, but there will be other wars."

And yet another one:
"Some of the jobs that left the state of Michigan are not coming back,"

Less jobs, more wars. I wonder why guys like this aren't in power?
