Well I always suspected that Obama was a radical leftist, as close to socialist as you can get here in the west, and you just have to say anything to get elected, because if you were given truth serum, and the public got a glimpse of his agenda, he'd still be a senator.</end quote></div>

Just out of curiousity, which of the above appealed to you the most?

Well Landy, at first I was uncommitted, as I was certain a Democrat would get the Presidency, so it was just a choice of choosing the flavor. During the primaries, the public got a clear glimpse of Obama; he ran as a radical liberal and won against the more centrist Hillary Clinton. He was even to the left of Kerry and Boxer. During the general, he embraced a more moderate platform to entice even more voters. I could care less about race or anything inconsequential like so, but I am thrilled that a neo-liberal is occupying the countries' highest office, now we can get started in cleaning up the mess that the republicans left, and most of them are fighting him tooth and nail. Does that even make sense? I mean, they created this huge global mess, and they won't even willingly let the Democrats attempt to clean it up.

Now to show how a politician will say just about anything to get elected, Obama repeatedly said that lobbyists will not "drown out the voices of the American people" and that he'd change the way Washington does politics. Now, I realize it's only a little over a month of his presidency, but he has employed quite a few lobbyists in his White House. Now normally, I couldn't care less, but the fact of the matter is that he made this an issue during the campaign. Now when he was cheerleading trying to sell the stimulus, he spoonfed an open-mouthed public doom and gloom to rush this sweeping package through- the same old fear-mongering that we've been used to these last 8 years. Obama promised to instate the Employee Free Choice Act, but hasn't yet, as I have a hunch that his advisors told him it will further stifle the economy. I am a little furious that Obama pledged to continue this fight in the Mid East by sending more troops to Afghanistan. Now I was all for this invasion in 2002, but 8 years later, it's not worth slaughtering 100s of 1000s more civilians just to isolate and dismantle Al-Qaeda. I say we bring all our boys home and let the Mid East deal with their own problems. This is what is stoking the fires of hatred toward us. I know this was a campaign promise of his to send more troops to Afghanistan, but that is one that I wish he'd break.

But quite frankly, the only platform Obama campaigned on was "change", and not even God himself, if he was on the republican ticket, could have clinched a victory for them.

I am wondering why W didn't move back to Crawford to his ranch.
He moved to another part of Tx. Maybe the Folks in Crawford just feel the same
way 80% of the Country feels about him and don't want him around...

We could also save a lot of money by removing W's Secret Service Detail.
He really does not need them, If someone was going to try and hurt him
they would have already done it.... I mean they had 8 years of his
stupid BS to fuel the fires... Now he can go back to being his real self
in public, Go ahead george Have another drink. I mean for the last 10 months
he has sounded and looked stoned to me, lol .. not meant to be a joke. It's just funny...

by George... don't come back now, hear!!

Brad, you really need to do something about your BDS--you have it so bad you can't let it go...Do you think Bush gives a flying fig about what you think? Your opinion is just that--worthless, and baseless. I think you have a more developed case--PE BDS. Post Election Bush Derangement Syndrome...
You really need help--maybe you should go count the promises your president has broken--or better yet, figure out how your children and grandchildren are going to pay for all the crap your president and your party have laid at their feet.
