NUK Quick n Ready Steam Sterilizer

I've noticed several different versions of the Avent steam sterilizer out there and am wondering if it matters. For example, is the one that holds 6 bottles big enough, or do I need the one for 12? Do all of the models work as well (after reading some other things, I do want the electric one versus microwave--just am not sure if I need to get the most expensive one).

This sounds like a great help, though! I'm definitely interested in trying it.

Some people have had issues with the microwave sterilizers (not any brand in particular) melting some things. I think one issue in general with microwave cooking is the possibility for 'hot spots' that would cause this (microwave cooking instructions refer to this a lot.) I like the plug-in one (even though it costs more) because I think it's a more uniform temperature. I also don't like the idea of repeatedly microwaving plastics, but that's just me... it's not a proven safety concern. I also like it for it's portability; i.e. for travel you don't have to worry about whether or not your hotel room has a microwave, etc.

I find our 6-bottle Avent is plenty big enough. It easily holds all the pieces for 6 pari nebs as well as an Aerochamber spacer at once; bigger pieces on the bottom and the mouthpieces and little round pieces on top. It also comfortably holds a disassembled Accapella Choice.

Just wondering why some of you dry your nebs after sterilizing. I always just shake the excess (sterile?) water off - isn't that enough?
