I'm just curious what people think about their respective health care plans. Which do you think you would prefer and why? Thanks.

I'm really not sure what I think about Obama's plan, but I know I do not approve of McCain's plan. Under McCain's plan, our contribution and our company's contribution will be taxed. I believe that this kind of taxation will make health care even more expensive for many organizations and they will decline to continue to offer health care.

While a free market approach to health care is certainly preferred for innovation of new and great medical breakthroughs, there needs to be some regulation. If insurance companies are just trying to make money, then they will refuse care to anyone who is undesireable. So those that are old or chronically ill will be left uninsured. Unless you are poor enough to receive aid or reach a point of illness that meets medicare requirements, you can't get insurance. So healthy CFers may not get the preventative care they need because they are a huge insurance risk but not sick enough to qualify for programs.
