I had similiar, buy not exact things, Fr3ak when I was with my first husband. I thought it was one of my Grand Mal Seizures since I am an Epileptic. All my seizures taken place while I am sleeping (usually around the same time that I have been asleep), but I dont know anything happened until I awake AFTER the seizure is over.

This one time was quite different. As a matter of fact when I "snapped out of it" (for lack of better words) I questioned if I had a seizure, a dream or what, but it scared the hell out of me. I chalked it up to seizure because physically I felt the same after a seizure. I was drained, sore muscles from the rigidness of my body, headache. The only difference was that my throat was extremely sore & I was hoarse. My first husband said I was screaming like hell. What I really remember is that I couldnt move.....I was paralyzed and my mind was yelling MOVE, MOVE but I just couldnt.

To date I have never had another unless you count sugar crashes (LOL) so I still dont know what it was, but I will still lean toward a seizure. If I didnt have an epileptic history then maybe I would think OBE!</end quote></div>

Melissa, for a long time I thought I was having seizures. i thought maybe I had fried my brain on too many substances and this was my payback - a seizure! But, in talking about it with someone, they suggested I look up sleep paralysis, and after doing so, I am sure that is what I have.

My son did, he was having a broc and one of his doctors' warned his Doc. that his PFTs' were to low and he was to weak..but they went ahead and did it. At the time I was in the waiting room and his grandfather was in his hospital room with his baby brother and so I felt I had to check on his baby brother and so I went up stairs and I was going up the stairs and had a weird feeling in my tummy and when I got to his room, as I was walking in. Over the loud speakers in the hospitals I heard a code 3..I didn't think of it twice and when I entered his room, his nurse ran in and told me I had to go back down stairs ASAP and she was crying, (mind you they have taken care of my son since he was 2yrs old) And I knew that minute, it was my son. I got to the OR and one of his docs' was standing with a nurse and as soon as he looked @ me, he didn't know what to say then his other doc who was doing the actual broc, came out and she was speechless and said to me that everything was good now, blah,blah,blah..I was so mad and I felt that these doc's weren't working together,if one thought he should go in for a broc, and the other did..But till this day my son can tell every bit of what happen in the OR, and his doctors are freaked out, he told them how he heard what they where talking about, how the fought with each other, the RTS and nurse that were there..etc..Too the TEE...Freakie uh???

GREAT topic glad I visited this evening.

I am not sure but I think I have had quite a few.

Many years ago, I had a dream that I was leaving earth heading up to heaven and suddenly, I had another mission on earth came back down and when desending, I felt my body jolt like I came back into my body. I awoke in the most peaceful state and I was talking about this dream to many for weeks. I felt very healthy as before the dream, I had some mild yeast issues. For about a week after the dream, my health was awesome.

I have many flying dreams where I am flying over buildings, helping others by teaching them how to fly and flying over planes. I love these flying dreams because when I wake up, I also feel very healthy. I feel I do leave my body in some way (have no clue) I have been experiencing flying dreams since I was a kid. I call them healing dreams. Sometimes if someone is running after me, I just take off. I always win in my dreams and I see colors too.

I had some major dreams after my second transplant while in the ICU. I told the doctors when I heard them talking and felt myself disconnected to my body like I was hovering over it.

I also had a nightmare that I was kidnapped LOL by one of the ICU doctors and the next morning when I saw that doctor, I said to myself, That was the doctor in my dream. I could not believe that I actually saw him but did not know he was my doctor in my dream (I am a lucid dreamer) I had many obe or felt myself talking to the staff. I actually was trying to escape in many of the dreams and they kept on capturing me. In life, I was not making it and they were trying to save me.

When I told the doctors about this dream they cracked up laughing. I still laugh when I think about that dream. Why I think it could have been an obe because I felt my body standing right next to theirs when they were apparently trying to save me.

I also remember what took place right before the surgery and then I woke up while the doctor was putting the needles in my chest and remembered everything that I said. I was only given versed at the time. I did not see the anesthiologist face but when I did meet him, his presense and energy seemed familiar and he was the doctor putting the needles into my chest.

Many months later, I was at the cafeteria having lunch and saw him from the back. I remember thinking that was dr. Sleepy and sure enough when he turned around he saw me and came over to give me a big hug. What makes me think, how in the world did I recognize him from the back? I must have seen him only five times but do not remember memorizing his back. I guess it must be energy that I am seeing and feeling. VERY STRANGE! but so much FUN

I know I had some hallucinations and knew they were hallucinations and just went with it and enjoyed them. I flew over mountains. It was like watching a repeated movie same scene over and over again. STRANGE feeling but I kept on praying to come out of it.

Then I heard many coversations and told my doctor the entire conversation. I hear that some people can travel and hear voices in other rooms. I have heard many conversations and when I would open my eyes nobody was there. Those heavy drugs really mess with your mind.

It is like being on crack cocaine I've been told.

After finishing the book, "Tapping into the power of love" messasges from the masters by Brian Weiss MD. I took a nap and felt my body during the nap, at different times going through a jolting phase from head to toe like I was going deeper and deeper into another time (almost like a push and pull sensation). Maybe I was trying to regress myself in my sleep? I do not remember what I was dreaming about but felt myself go in and out with a force. This was the second time I had this sensation. The first time was many years ago when I had the heaven dream.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I definitely think I would be an excellent candidate for regression therapy but I have not decided if this is right for me at this time. I might try practicing the exercise in the back of the book with my husband.

The push and pull sensation was also healing and I went out that night and danced for a long time with a charge of exciting energy.

I love to DREAM<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
