<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>I thought most women with CF had complications getting pregnant naturally. Hope I don't sound ignorant, just thought most women had thicker than normal mucus lining their cervix as well. </end quote></div>

It depends on the woman. I had been trying to conceive for 2.5 years with no success at all. Two weeks ago, I had a laparoscopy, checking for endometriosis. Everything came back normal. My doctor said everything looked 'perfect' and blamed cervical mucus as the cause of my infertility. My FEV1 is 70% too so don't think that the lower your FEV1 the lesser your chances. That blew my mind for the longest time...

Get on something to prevent pregnancy if you aren't trying to get pregnant. It can happen and probably will when you least suspect it. I see it all the time on this forum which can be fustrating to say the least. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

I didnt use birth control for 12 years & was only with my husband for 10 months when I got pregnant so talk about surprise & unexpected! You never know so PLEASE prevent it since IMHO you are in no position for another child now. BTW you had a blood test done that came up negative?

Wow, I thought most women with CF had complications getting pregnant naturally. Hope I don't sound ignorant, just thought most women had thicker than normal mucus lining their cervix as well.</end quote></div>

Not always the case.
All my husband had to do was take off his pants and I was PG.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I was <b>ALWAYS</b> very careful to use birth control and then had my tubes tied when I was 'done.' <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

And for goodness sakes Vampy, please go to the Dr. to find out for sure.
Good luck to you. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

lol i went to my cousins ob gyn apt with her, she didnt have a ride at all, so i decided i would take her. I miss the ultrasounds. i kinda sad im not but its for the best. I think its because i barely get to see my lukey <img src=""> and my mommy genes are saying "MORE" but for right now its not the right time. im telling my bf hes gonna have to suffer till the 26th when i can go get some birth control from the dr LOL. poor guy. I actually wanna get the five year birth control ring put in. I dunno if a reg doc can do it or not. I'd have to call my ob gyn and find out. I want to be financially ready and have a nice home out in the country first.
