Olivia's clinic appointment today...........

Hey All,

I was so stressed out all week just thinking about Olivia's clinic appointment, as docs havn't been to happy with her eating, growth and development.

So i was braceing myself for the worst. Well we got off too a good start, as they had a surprise christmas party planned for the kids. There was food, clowns and all the kids even got christmas presents and lot's of christmas carols and music sung live by a chior of three ladies.

It was fantastic.

Now to her appointment: well to my surprise the doc's were very happy with her overall health, growth and weight.
I just wanted to cry right then and there, but i held off.

It was the first time we had such positive news in a long time.

So i just wanted to share my joy with all of you, as you have all been so supportive towards me and many others on this site.

Also, they have upped her dose of antibiotics to 2.5 mls of the 250mg strength of Flucloxacilan (sp?) twice a day, and have also put her on the Losec as it may help with her weight gane.

That's about all i can think of right now, my brain is sizzled as its been such a long day. The trip to the hospital takes 2.5 hrs, so its a long drive.

Thats great Eli, sounds like you had a ball at the party they had, thats a nice touch by the clinic.

My son has had Fluclox since the off, he gets 5ml off the 250 3 time sdaily, he has had this dosge for qute saome time
