My pfts have been down before after IVs. But your body needs to recuperate. I would, now or after IVs, take a week and stop working out. The times you would be working out, sleep. Prednisone has worked for me in the past after IVs. It is just a boost. Also, TOBI never works for me but going on a week or two of Coly-mycin has helped. So Prednisone, Coly-mycin and sleep (to let your body recuperate without IVs in) is my prescription. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hang in there!! And if you decided to go to CA with your friends. Have fun but take a nap in between the fun!!

Something to look at is your activity level. Sometimes when I have an I.V. treatment, I am actually not near as active because I am tethered to the I.V. pole for numerous hours of the day. Even though the medications are doing their trick, the lack of activity has a bit of an adverse affect. Usually my PFT's will be highest a week after the medication, after I resume my day to day activities.

I see that you have arthritis. I have it very severe and have had no luck treating it. I am allergic to sulfates so I can't take any of the normal arthritis drugs, and the one that was not sulfa based that I tried didn't help. What do you do for it?
