Did anyone watch Oprah's show today? It was an inspirational show about illness and how people cope with their diagnosis. I was never one to dwell on CF but some think that such a diagnosis is a death sentence. No one knows when they're going to leave this earth but we can all strive to be healthy and smile.

I know that coming to this website daily makes me more compliant with my treatments. Reading daily forums and blogs makes me laugh and cry but I smile more than I frown.

I'm not willing to let CF defeat me or define me.

I totally agree with you! While CF has made me who I am, that in no way means CF is all I am. I try to keep a positive out look, but sometimes it gets hard...But I think we all have those days.
I also agree with you when you say that coming here makes you more compliant, it does me too! It's hard to read sometimes but it is almost alway informative or inspirational...

But u know cf may be a death sentence but all we can do is take our meds, live laugh and love like no tomarrow and just live everyday as it was our last and *for me i do* i pray to god that we stay healthy and live normal lives.
