I'm in way more pain from muscle soreness from working out than I ever have been from the back/neck issue. Brian had to help me get dressed because my pecs and shoulder muscles are so sore I can't lift my arms.

oops, sorry I misread! Too late in the evening for me to be offering advice!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

they could do an electrical conductance test to determin where there is compression and /or damage to any nerve. Not sure what they could do after, if they find some damage, gyess it depends on the degree of damage.
I had this done on my arm, trapped nerve at elbow, found moderate damage. Said they would widen an area where my nerves traveled throug if it did not improve, it did so no surgery.

I woudl continue with chiropractic and add massage.

Chiropractic is not a one time fix. Chiropractic will re-align the spine thus relieving the pressure on the nerves which will allow your body to facilitate healing.

Adding massage will allow the muscles to relax and quit pulling your body back into the incorrect position (it has been in this position for so long that it is trying to pull itself back into that after adjustments). If you combine the two you will thus speed recovery, reduce the # of chiro visits you will most likely need, and reduce the pain.

if you have any more questions about chiropractic I woudl be happy to talk with you, or anyone.
