Pari Nebulizer Compressors

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a Pari Proneb Ultra and a Pari Proneb Ultra II (one for use at home, and one in the car). The Ultra II has never worked as well as I expected and takes much longer (25 minutes for Tobi versus 15 on the older model). I use LC Sprint nebulizers with both. The Ultra II has been cutting on and off, so I'm probably needing to replace it. Does anyone know if those Ultra II's just don't work as well, or did I get a faulty one? I have found good deals for both models and can't decide which way to go. Any help would be appreciated!

the Ultra II's have been, for whatever reason, problematic. I have to trade mine in with my distributor and/or PARI about every 1-2 months.

But they'll do it for free, and I get 2 free PARI LC Plus's, so there you go.

PARI has told me over and over their engineers are working feverishly to figure out what's wrong with the Ultra II's (the company is losing $).

But if treatment times are taking longer, this means you may not be getting the full med dose. So definitely trade out the machine immediately. PARI is super helpful if you call them and tell them you're a CFer with Ultra II <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Take care

I bought a Pari Pro Ultra II Neb about 6 months ago, it worked well the first 2 months
then it started having to kind of build up pressure to Neb my meds.
I have since went back to my Pulmo-Aide 5052 that is 17 years old and works
10 times better than the Pro Neb.. The warranty was only 90 days or something
I am not sure. The Pulma Aide warr was 5 years.

The Pari did come with 2 Pari LC plus Med cups. <So they were worth the cost.
