Passing time in the hospital

I'm the same, 1 week is fine, after that I start climbing the walls and go crosseyed.

I usually watch a lot of movies on my computer, bring a new good book, sometimes I try to learn new software on the computer (huge time passer), or maybe if you have a bunch of pictures on your computer you can start to make a home movie if you have all that stuff. You could start xmas shopping online, long phone calls, long naps, long walks, ask to go to the gym/rehab room, try getting into a soap(s). I don't know.....I'm always at a loss for something better then these topics, although I still never get into the soaps! Wish I could though.

Hope you feel better soon.

on the bright side, it seems to get easier and easier every visit (at least I think so). I try to sleep, sleep is the best friend in the hospital for me.

I'm not in yet, but will be getting locked up in about 2 weeks. Thank You for Your suggestions, I seem to do most of those things already. Maybe I was just looking for the idea that isnt there. Something to kill days not just a few hours. I usually rent seasons of tv shows and watch all of them in a day. That works pretty well. I'm just used to being so independent when I'm at home. I guess sleeping passes the time best, and Xanex. ha.

Have a good day all, thanks again for the ideas.

if you have a laptop you can bring with you, I suggest video games. They can be quite time-consuming and entertaining, if that's something that at all interests you. The ones that really suck me in (you know the kind where you start playing and before you know it, 6 hours have passed) are the Sims and World of Warcraft. (WoW requires an internet connection.)
