I am exactly 6 weeks out of surgery and my fev1 is 56% and has been and has been as low as 48%, i was expecting it be much higher (90-100%) after transplant. i havent missed a dose of anything and excersize more than most other people that are 6 weeks out of surgery (jogging and walking, and some weights in PT), am i just being impaitient? or should i get used to being around 56%. (not complaining too much since i was at 18% before tx). it is still frusterating because most of the things i see and read are about people who have lung function in the 90s after transplant, is this false advertising???? or does it just take longer than i had hoped ?
