PFT's and time of day

Mine's almost always around 2 or 2:30.

I did PFT's at 12:30 on Friday though and got an FEV1 of 100%. Makes me wonder, if, according the article, I could have reached 117% if I would have waited until 4pm!

Would have been an all time record for me, that's for sure.....

For the past 2 years I have had 11 am appointment times - guess I should be making them for later!? Too bad that 11 am is the most convenient time for me. I'll have to tell my doctor about that study the next time I see her. A 17% increase in PFTs would be great <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I saw a really interesting show on TV (possibly the discovery channel?) about our body clocks. Like working out in the morning can actually raise your blood pressure (bad for people w/ high bp) and working out in the evening can lower your bp. Also, there are better times of day for infusing antibiotics since our livers are more efficient at certain times of day. And better times of day to administer chemotherapy for cancer treatments. very very cool. Glad to see something related to me/us. Love it!

Beyond that, it makes me wonder if there is a specific time during the day that CP's and therapies would be more beneficial on our lungs?
This article seems (I didn't thoroughly read the entire article) to be in relation to non-CFers PFT's in general. How could this better help CF specifically if we had more info?
