give them a reward.

if they do the test in the box, then they get a treat. toy, food, experiene, whatever. give them an incentive.

the box isn't going away, so might as well get them used to it now.

My girls get basic PFT's done every 3 months, or more if sick. The 'Box' is tried at each appt, but my girls do not do well with it. They completely freak out and we get no numbers at all
I feel bad that I can't get them to do it. I wish I could sit in the box with them, but since I can't, it is really hard to force them to do it. I understand that there is a short amount of time in which they feel like they cannot get any air, and since they have both experienced it, it is hard to get them back in.

Any suggestions?</end quote></div>

Sorry Sweety....except for consistantly trying I cant offer much as the short amount of time with no air STILL freaks me out! Hell I dont even like Jazmine covering my mouth with her hand or pinching my noise!
