It's very possible that the reason your tummy isn't flat is BECAUSE you don't take enzymes all the time. It's a symptom of malnourishment, not overweight body fat. It's not fat that's making you have that tummy, it's probably bloatedness and accumulation of fecal matter that your body could not handle properly because you didn't take the enzymes properly.

I speak from experience. I used to "forget" (aka intentionally not take my enzymes) on a regular basis because I figured if I didn't absorb what I ate, then I could stay slim. My body responded by getting more and more bloated as I became more malnourished.

These days I take my enzymes EXACTLY as prescribed, even with high calorie high fat junk (I have a weakness for Chinese food) and my stomach is FLAT. It's not like I have washboard abs, but I do happen to have what I consider to be a nice figure.

Elective surgeries are bad ideas in my opinion. Not only will you have to fight with insurance over it (they probably won't pay for it) but you probably won't feel much better about yourself in the long run.

Take your enzymes, eat right, and forget about pursuing surgery.

I have to agree with lightNlife. Your not taking your enzymes and the only area on your body that has any extra weight is your stomach - direct correlation. I bet if you began regularly taking your enzymes you would get the results you want - without the pain and expense of an unnecessary surgery!

I daresay, I know just how you feel- I also don't have a problem gaining weight (have a problem losing it though ), and am maintaining my vitamin levels with one enzyme a day. Any bloating I get gets worse with taking enzymes with every meal (I only take them with extra greasy meals and at night with my vitamin) because of more bloating from gas/constipation- not to mention pain!- issues. It took me many years to find an enzyme that "agreed" with me at all.

For me, the "round tummy" just runs in my family. I can weigh 90 lbs, not have a stitch of fat on the rest of me, and yet, that tummy fat stays!!! However, I never did seriously consider having anything surgically done about it, even when my pft numbers were high (though I did joke with my doctor who did my laproscopic surgery about taking care of that too, lol). For me, I would rather have to say "No, I'm not pregnant, but thanks for asking" a million times than take a risk with my lungs for a nonhealth related surgery.

I've had 3 abdominal surgeries since being a teen and older, and no, no, no thank you to go through that pain (especially when it comes to coughing!) again! When I need it, I just put on a pair of tummy controller undies, and the rest of the time, I have found what cut/shape/brand of pants and shorts fit me the best to minimize the round tummy issue.

My 2 cents - I hope it helps.

Hello,
I didn't read all of the other posts....but....there is something called lipodissolve. You can PM me for the link, my dermo does it in her office. It's shots in the fatty areas, then you wear a tight spandex 'thing' for a while and the fat goes away. You go several times for the shots, they don't put you to sleep, etc.

I (personally) think if something is bothering you about your body...change it. I've had a few things done, which I have not regreted for a moment!

Let me know if you need any more answers!

ps. i do agree with exercising, I exercise and I love it, I feel good and like the effects.
