Doctor said a week of IV antibiotics or no surgery. I volunteered Tom for the week. Okay, I guess I DID throw him to the sharks. But, its what M needed. And, if I can garner any sympathy for my generousity in setting Tom out for sharkbait I do get to single parent 6 kids while 9 months pregnant over Thanksgiving this next week <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

I was thinking who got the shorter end of the stick. Locked in a hospital room with a 6 year old to entertain OR being pregnant during a holiday with 6 other youngins at home......

I never thought about the xrays etc for you!

What a hassle with the time frames & trying to get things done before expiration dates. Contrary to stories that Tom might relay....we have compassion for you my dear!

Actually Mel, Tom says y'all tend to be pretty darn rough on him and give me the benefit of the doubt...almost makes me wonder if you've actually met him IRL.

Poor M though. Last I heard he hadn't had his 5pm meds, some of which are his psych meds that keep him holding himself together. They couldn't do the PICC tonight and still hadn't gotten the IV in yet. Tom says he's bored and going crazy, and he's afraid to take the kid to go rent his Spongebob that he likes to lose his brain for in hospital stays, because he doesn't want to miss someone important that they need to deal with to finish his admission junk.

Thankfully, the kid DID get his dinner. Loaded with fat and dairy even though he's struggling to digest lactose right now, so it should be a FUN night for them.

The 2 yo has been happy and content. She was fine with big brother subsituting for Daddy for bedtime. As long as she can call Daddy and M when she starts to miss them. And, she'll get to see both of them tomorrow afternoon for awhile.
