Hi,
My Primary Physician today informed me today that he feels I am in a "Pre-Diabetes" stage right now, and probably CF related. My recent lab results were a 113 fasting Glucose. I am not sure if this is high or just borderline. We are repeating my labs in two months, so I was told to cut down on simple sugars and eat a "Mediterranean" type diet, lowfat etc. I have always been told to stick to the high-protein, high-calorie, CF diet, so throwing in the Diabetes I am having to address my diet more closely now. I know I should be exercising more, I usually just hit the weights hard 3-4 days a week because that is what I like, with very little cardio. Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid a Diabetes diagnosis and any diet suggestions?
