I, too, have been rx'ed pred for allergies that get too severe for my allegra/advair/singulair, etc. And WOW...what a nice difference. I don't have any side effects (that I'm aware of, anyway). wow, with what dosages you've been on, I feel I'm on a very very HIGH dose, even though the doc said he'd put me on a "low" dose... i'm on 30 mg. twice daily! this will continue for 5 days and then I assume we'll taper down. Either way, is 60 mg per day a lot??
