I used Colistin during my whole pregnancy - I was told it was a category B. Brianna is now 5 months old and is perfect <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

My high risk ob/gyn always said "NO" to Cipro while I was pregnant.. and also even said no to inhaled TOBI (which i didnt understand, but i listened to her anyways). So, I inhaled Colistin. I was also on IV antibiotics 3 times while pregnant (Aztreonam & Zosyn).

Everything turned out fine and Brianna is as happy & healthy as can be! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

FEV1 prior to pregnancy: 90
lowest FEV1: during pregnancy 71 but when I was 18 and refused to do treatments they went down in the 50s
FEV1 post: Lillian is now 8 weeks and they're horrid 70ish... who has time for treatments when your breastfeeding???
CFRD: no
preterm labor: I was induced at 40 weeks and 2 days. I begged my OB
weight of child at birth: 6 lbs and 6 and a half oz
uterine bleeding/spotting: at 10 weeks after sex once I bled but that was it and everything was fine
# of IV treatments during preg: never been on IVs
IV drugs: none
time it took to conceive: 3 months of just not using any birth control
weight gained during pregnancy: 23 pounds, the last 2 months I couldn't keep nething down and had heartburn so bad I didn't feel like eating nething so...

I've been breastfeeding now for 8 weeks, its going great. My cf is the worst it's been in a long time because of neglecting treatments to take care of her and I caught a bad cold. I'd honestly say I felt great while I was preggo. My pfts dropped the amount the doc said they would but I felt great. No increased cough, I ran the whole time I was preg.
