Good morning, I am the husband of the beautiful 38 yr.old "princesskc2". I read in your reply that you have a slow digestive tract. My wife is suffering from what the doctors are calling a nerve disorder from the brain to the stomach. When she eats, she goes into terrible gramps and blocks up. The ONLY thing the medical world has come up with is having her drink a half of gallon of Miralax. This process takes 10-12 hours to flush out her GI tract and she has experinced a 10 lb. weight drop in the passed 6 mo. She had a hestirecomty 6 months ago and that is when it all started. Anything to share?

hmmm. I had a hysterectomy in 2004, via epidural. I had trouble with my bowels for about a week. (I was blocked)
Maybe the doctor is on the right track as far as her nerves...maybe there was some nerve damage which is resulting in her GI problem. I honestly don't know, but it does make sense. Nerves do grow back, and they do have meds to help aid that process.

I hope she is feeling better soon. Keep us posted.
Best Wishes
