Question about how you other mothers prepare your babies bottles?

We washed the bottles and associated parts (all by Avent) by hand with dawn dish soap and a bottle brush every night then used the Avent microwave sterilzer and shook off the condensation then let everything dry on a rack.

As for mixing formula, we found a stick blender to be a good way to get the powder mixed with no lumps and we used tap water that went through a filter. We also found that the nurses at the pediatrician and cf clinic were quite happy to give us whole cases of ready-to-use "samples" at a time since nobody else used the wierd formula our boy drank...

When DS was a baby, I mixed up a quart pitcher (Nalgene bottle or rubbermaid container) of formula every day/every other day and kept it in the fridge, so I wasn't mixing up bottles in the middle of the night. 'Course that was back in the day when there weren't warnings about using plastic containers <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I feel like a slacker as well! I wash her bottles in the dishwasher. I do however wash her nipples with antibacterial and then boil for 5 minutes.
