If you look at lightNlife's blog (which someone did post a link to), which I just read she says it was recomended to her to do Pulmo before HTS. Thats kind of how I would feel. I have neer really asked my clinic about this b/c I have never been on more than one Neb med at a time. But it seems to make sense that since Pulmo helps to thin the mucus, THEN the HTS gets it out easier...just a thought.

</a>
And the inhaled abx should always go last...because you want that to work with the mucus thats still in the lungs, you dont want that to get coughed out.

I have been doing only the HTS and alb, but I think I am going to start back up on the Pulmo and see if that helps me to get even more stuff out...

My clinic has never really pushed a particular order for the meds. I did a lot of research on this board and others when Hayley first started taking Pulmozyme and there really was no consensus on before or after the vest. I personally think that it is a waste of money ($1,800 per month) to do the Pulmozyme prior to the vest and then shake it out before it has a chance to work. So that is why we decided to do the Pulmozyme after the vest, that way the lungs are nice and clear (After the Xopenex has opened up the airways and the vest has loosened the mucous) that the Pulmozyme has a chance to get in there and really work to thin the mucous. Hope that makes sense.

We just did this routine in the hospital in October and January when Hayley was inpatient and all of the respiratory therapists seemed to think this was the way to go, never questioned that it was after the vest.

Thanks for all the replies, I really appreciate all of your advice!!
