Well I live in Texas :) and I want to stay under the 1000$ so for the rest of my life I don't have to worry about the ticket to work program or worry about my disability being taken from me as as you can see my lung function is 34% and I do have nite oxygen as well as day if needed!..but so I would need to calculate as 4.33 weeks for the month an that's hw I work out what I can make a week right without goin over for the month and year?!..an il never get close to 24,000 for the insurance stuff so that won't be an issue :)..soo I think I feel a little better now and will apply for my Victoria secret job tomorow I'm stoked lol

I finally decided to take a break and apply for SSDI after working for 2 years with 26% FEV1. I'll probably go back to work fulltime after im done school though.
Sure no problem:

$8.00 an hour if you work 20 hours, that's $160 a week. $160 X 4.33 = $692.80 a month
at $8.00 an hour you would not want to work anymore than 28 hours. At 28 hours a week you would be making $969.92 a month. At 29 (which maybe considered FT work) would put you at $1004.56 a month.. over the limit. So just be careful especially if they ask you to work more around Holidays.

I am on the working disabled program, I have Medicare due to start in Feb or March.... and I am on Medicaid... I also work. I make under 1000.00 a month but my hourly salary is high as I am an RN. They don't just look at how much money you make per month, they also look at how many hours of work you work during a week. I only work six hours a week maybe seven.... I can not work more then that and shouldn't anyway because right now I am on o2 all the time and I can't wear it at work.. so make sure you don't go over part time status which I would assume is 16 hours a week but I would check with Beth to be sure

MediCAID is a state program and their income limitations have nothing to do with anything at the federal level. I would double check with the social health services office in your state as Social security does NOT have anything to do (financially) with medicaid and the income limitations.
