I see some of you would have, what I consider to be very high lung functions. ( 90% +++) As most of you know, I had a tx last year, and my lung functions had ALWAYS been very poor prior to that - I don't remember them being higher then 50-60ish.
Anyway, following my transplant, I finally know what it is to be able to breath (pfts approx 95). I can take a deep breath and don't cough etc.
For those of you with CF whose pfts are 90%+ (without txs) do you feel you can breathe "normally"? Do you never get breathless or clogged up or get coughing fits? I'm just trying to see if the way I feel now is similar to the way you feel all the time...
For example: if you went to the Gym to train, would you need to stop to cough, or would you need to bring a sputem cup with you to cough out? My question is a bit vague but if you could answer, that'd be great! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Thanks
